100 Iron-On Name Labels
Appearance: Our labels have a unique appearance. They look basically the same as they did when Camp Connection opened - 30 years ago. Yes they look old-school. Why? Because these labels are designed to stick and to last longer than the garment – not simply to look good.
One of the keys to our long-lasting labels is the reason why we don’t offer fancy colours and cool fonts. We print using dot matrix printers. Where most other label makers apply ink to the surface of their, our printers pound the indelible laundry ink right into the fabric. It’s noisy, it’s plain, it’s a little rough around the edges, and it works. You don’t change that many years of success.
Fast turnaround: Most of our Label orders are printed and ready to ship the next business day
Construction: Our Name Labels are designed to stay. These name tags are constructed of 50% cotton and 50% polyester for softness and durability. The heat-activated adhesive on the back is reliable and long-lasting. The labels come 'starched' for ease of application, and soften after the first wash. The labels are printed in indelible laundry ink, specially designed and tested in the toughest camp and hospital laundry machines. They will show only minimal fade and wear over time and when properly ironed on, should last longer than the garment.
Want to sew them on?: No Problem - just throw the label sheet in the wash first. It will wash out the starch that stiffens them up for printing and handling, and you'll be able to stitch these on with ease.
Ordering: You can order on-line and we’ll send them to your door , or you can get labels in store. We print them while you wait - it takes about a minute.
Apply to: Cotton based fabrics, or anything that can be ironed without damaging the garment.
Size/Details: The labels measure one half inch by two inches, and come in perforated sheets of 100 (not in rolls like name tape). You can have 2 lines of custom text on each label, with up to 16 characters (including punctuation and spaces) in all-uppercase, on each line. Regular post is included in the cost of these labels.
Instructions: Use the highest cotton setting - NO STEAM! 1. Separate a label from the sheet by folding and tearing along the perforated lines. 2. Place the label -writing face up- on the garment to be labeled. 3. Iron over the label and garment. It takes 10 to 30 seconds to iron each label, depending on your iron. Once the label has cooled, ensure all edges and corners are flat and have fully adhered to the garment. More ironing may be required.
Follow garment manufacturers instructions, do not apply to garments where Ironing is not recommended.
Please note: Due to a high number of delayed, damaged, and lost orders we no longer offer Canada Post letter mail as a shipping option for Iron-on or Stick-on labels. Moving our label shipping to courier-only allows you to track your order's progress, and it allows us to see any problems and insure your order against possible loss, damage or mis-delivery.
