A (not so) serious conversation about socks.

We need to have a (not so) serious conversation about socks.
(also, how cute are sheep, right?)

Merino Hiking socks in action

A good pair of socks can make or break my day. Pick the right socks and my feet are happy! Pick the wrong ones and I am in for a world of cold, smelly-footed misery. Do you like cold, smelly-footed Misery? I don’t. And so I have two words for you: Merino Wool.

If (like me) you still kind of think wool is stiff, itchy, heavy stuff then, like me, you might need to try out some new things. So lets focus on the important word: 'Merino.'

Merino wool comes from Merino Sheep. These wonderfully cute and cuddly fluffballs have wool that is both thinner and softer than regular, boring (but probably still cute) sheep.

This makes for fabrics that help regulate body temperature, transport sweat away as vapor, cancel out odors and all that other boring technical stuff.

More importantly, it makes for some seriously comfortable socks! Which brings me to the Stone Peak Hiker.

Stone Peak Hiker Socks

It is made with Merino Wool. It is warm and soft and durable, and it helps control moisture and odor. Which keeps me from being cold, smelly-footed and miserable.

The Stone Peak hiker comes in a full crew length and a quarter crew, with lots of colour options to suit my mood. (And they start at $8.99!)

Treat your feet and try a pair - you will not be disappointed!

If ewe need me I'll be at one of those cuddly sheep cafés. Those exist, yes?
