Iron on Name Labels

Alternative Views:

Our iron and sew-on labels are constructed of 50% cotton and 50% polyester for softness and durability. They are one half inch by two inches. They’ll show only minimal fade and wear over time, and when properly ironed on, should even last longer than the garment!

What is this sorcery, you ask? The answer is Dot matrix printers. Where most other label makers apply ink to the surface of their labels, our printers pound the indelible laundry ink right into the fabric. Ta-da!

Gotta have ‘em? Order right here and we’ll send them to your door, or have them printed on the spot in-store – only takes about a minute!

Appearance:
Our labels have a unique appearance. They look basically the same as they did when Camp Connection opened - over 20 years ago. Yes they look old-school. Why? Because these labels are designed to stick and to last longer than the garment – not just to look good.

One of the keys to our long lasting labels is the reason why we don’t offer fancy colours and cool fonts. We print using dot matrix printers. Where most other label makers apply ink to the surface of their, our printers pound the indelible laundry ink right into the fabric. It’s noisy, it’s plain, it’s a little rough around the edges, and it works. You don’t change 20 years of success.

Fast turnaround:
Most of our Label orders are printed and ready to ship the next business day

Construction:
Our Name Labels are designed to stay. These name tags are constructed of 50% Cotton and 50% polyester for softness and durability. The heat-activated adhesive on the back is reliable and long lasting. The labels come 'starched' for ease of application, and soften after the first wash. The labels are printed in indelible laundry ink, specially designed and tested in the toughest camp and hospital laundry machines. They will show only minimal fade and wear over time and when properly ironed on, should last longer than the garment.

Ordering:
You can order on-line and we’ll send them to your door , or you can get labels in store. We print them while you wait - it takes about a minute.

Sorry, you cannot order in advance for a pick-up in store. We will be happy to print your name tags on the spot when you arrive.

Best product for the price March 15, 2016
Reviewer: Jamie from Scarborough
I dont use these for the intended purpose. I use them to label 'toys and blankets that I have made for friends and family. The labels stay on wool as well as cotton and even rope.  The toys I give to dogs and children and none have been able to get the labels off and that is not for lack of trying!! They tear apart really easy and I have never had any problems with them coming apart or loose threads.

This turned out to be the most boring experiment ever.  At 5 washes, the labels hadn't changed ... It would not be possible to remove them without ruining my hoody...if the printed names faded at all in the wash, a visual inspection and comparison to photos did not reveal it... I will continue to track the label performance as my poor hoody gets more beat up, but at this time I have to put my iron away and say that for the money, these labels rank an easy five out of five.

Great labels but tedious pre-iron effort July 8, 2015
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Dollard Des Ormeaux, QC Canada
The labels do their job great. They go on easy and remain on after many washes. Definitely recommend these labels.

However, the effort involved to before ironing is tedious. The labels do not tear as easy as they do on the video (you require either scissors or x-acto knife). And if you do manage to tear the labels by hand, little strings hang and get ironed on with the label (or you can cut the string with scissors). Also, I find the name is not centered on the label leaving lots of extra space.
